The Centre has given P Raghavendra Rao an additional charge as the Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals from June 1.
Rao is a Haryana cadre Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of the 1985 batch. He is presently the Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals.
Rao’s additional charge is till a regular incumbent is appointed, a statement from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training said.
