The DoS on Tuesday had said that it was looking at the best exit option for annulling the contract with Devas Multimedia.
While the DoS said that it had taken the decision to cancel the contract in 2009, Devas Multimedia on Thursday said that it was all along told by ISRO that the project was getting delayed due to technical issues. The agreement was signed in 2005 and the service was supposed to have been launched this year.
