The US Consulate General Mumbai will shift this month from Lincoln House in Breach Candy and the American Centre in Churchgate to its new facility at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in the suburbs.
The new US Consulate General at BKC reflects the expansion in US-India relations, and features expanded space for consulate operations, a release said. The number of interview windows for services to visa applicants and the US citizens will increase significantly, from 13 to 44.
Lincoln House will close its doors to the public on November 15 and reopen on November 21 at the new BKC location. As a result, the Consulate will not provide visa services between November 15 and 21, the release said.
