Ms Y.S.Vijaya, wife of late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has filed a writ petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking a direction to initiate a case of disproportionate assets against Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, TDP chief and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, his family members and his associates.
She prayed the court to take up the matter under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, provisions under the Money Laundering Act among other criminal proceedings.
In a 100-page affidavit and annexures running into 2,000 pages, the petitioner has made the Union Government, Andhra Pradesh Government, Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate as parties along with Mr Chandrababu Naidu, his wife Bhuvaneshwari, their son Lokesh, Heritage Diary, Madhucon Projects, CM Ramesh among others.
