The President of India, Ms Pratibha Patil, who is due to retire in July, is set to become a resident of pensioners’ paradise Pune following the allotment of a bungalow to her by the Government.
With the earlier choice of home at Khadki mired in controversy, Raigad, a bungalow on Pashan Road will now be her home.
Currently occupied by the Superindent of Police, Pune Wireless Division, the house is expected to be ready for its new high profile occupant in a couple of months’ time.
