South Africa offers tremendous opportunities in the field of tourism, shipbuilding and seafood processing which are of interest to Kerala, Mr Pule Malefane, Consul-General of the Republic of South Africa has said.
Speaking at an interactive session held under the aegis of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry here, he said South Africa with its cent per cent FDI policy with repatriation, lowest tax rates with incentives and first class infrastructure facilities, offers sound investment avenues to a prospective businessman.
South Africa, he said, is the wealthiest nation in the world with natural resources in abundance, including diamond, gold, platinum and other high value metals, and acts as a gateway to other nations in the continent.
