Mr A. K. Verma, General Manager, South Eastern Railway (SER), on Friday said projects planned for the region should be executed urgently.
According to Mr Verma, thrust should be given to projects that would generate extra line capacity and help in easing out train operations. During a review meeting at the SER headquarters in Garden Reach, he stressed upon projects pertaining to safety and manning of level crossing gates.
At the meeting, Mr Verma said monitoring of passenger amenities, staff amenities and traffic facility works should also be given priority.
