Telecom operator Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL), whose 21 licences have been cancelled by the Supreme Court, today announced new offers for prepaid customers of its data service ‘MBlaze’ in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
SSTL, which offers its services under the MTS brand, has introduced two offers wherein customers paying three months tariff in advance will get 3GB and 5GB free data along with a data card.
“MTS is committed to its data focused-voice enabled strategy ... we have launched these propositions which can be availed of by prepaid customers in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu,” SSTL Chief Operating Officer (Karnataka and Tamil Nadu), Mr Suresh S. Kumar, said in a statement.
Customers would now have the choice to opt for other retail plans at the end of the three-month period, the company said.
SSTL is a joint venture between Sistema of Russia and Shyam group of India and claims to have over 16 million customers.
