Unlike in the olden days, the process of issuing housing loans has become much faster and efficient today, said Mr T. Balthavachalan, Assistant General Manager, Can Fin Homes Pvt Ltd, while addressing students of the Veltech College of Computer Management Science, at a BL Club lecture presented by Tata Photon+.

He told the students about the various documents the bank authorities would seek while sanctioning housing and business loans. He made it clear that to receive loans,  the documents submitted must be clear, and the background of the applicant (such as his or her qualification and experience) and financial position would be taken in to consideration while sanctioning housing and business loans.

He shared with the students past events from his professional life, the hurdles faced throughout his career and experience at work.

He also emphasised on maintaining a good behaviour and attitude in professional life. For instance, he said professionals should work with purpose towards set goals, they should be dedicated and put in hard work with the right attitude.

The address ended with a question and answer session. Dr E. S. Jambulingam, Principal, and Mr Subramaniam, Head of the Department, were also present.
