Vodafone Essar India, is supporting an awareness campaign with Chettinad Vidyashram, Chennai and Youth Exnora to support a unique initiative “Say NO to plastic and Say YES to paper bags'.
According to Mr Suresh Kumar, COO, Tamil Nadu, Vodafone Essar Ltd., the campaign is aimed at highlighting the importance of recycling and students of Chettinad Vidyashram will demonstrate the process of segregation and recycling of waste as part of Youth ExNoRa International's month long campaign on adaptation.
As a part of this initiative, Vodafone and Youth ExNoRa have created a paper bag of 100 ft width and 60 ft , ideated by Chettinad Vidyashram, Chennai and Make Earth Smile Again(MESA), the release said.
