A Bill to amend the Whistleblowers Protection Act 2011 has been introduced in Lok Sabha on Monday.
This Bill seeks to incorporate necessary provisions aimed at strengthening the safeguards against disclosures which may prejudicially affect the sovereignty and integrity of the country, and security of the State.
Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office, introduced the Bill in the Lower House.
