7Seas Entertainment games now in Nokia store

Game developer 7Seas Entertainment Ltd has got 17 of its mobile games, which include racing, shooting, puzzles and adventure, onto the Nokia Store.

The Nokia store is a one-stop shop for mobile content to help customers personalise their Nokia devices. It supports a range of applications like videos, games, podcasts, productivity tools and Web and location-based services.

In a release the Hyderabad-based listed entity said all games are optimised for a range of Nokia handsets. These games would cost Rs 50 per game.

The Nokia and 7Seas Entertainment relationship will bring in some of the world's exciting mobile games for game lovers across the world. The company has over 500 IP-based games across online, PC and mobile etc, said Mr L. Maruti Sanker, Managing Director.

With about 800 million mobile subscribers in India, mobile gaming is emerging as the fastest-growing segment for games. With the increasing number of smartphone devices in the market, game app stores are becoming increasingly popular, he added.

Nokia Store sees more than 11 million downloads a day globally. In India, the local Nokia Store sees more than 12 million downloads a week, the release said.
