Dimension NXG, GMETRI Studios and Highir Technologies are among the nine start-ups selected by social networking major Facebook and incubator T-Hub for their maiden India Innovation Hub that the duo announced recently. The other start-ups selected for the programme are Innov4Sight Health and Biomedical Systems, Loop Reality, Merxius Software, Parallel XR, Scapic Innovations and VadR.

The programme is aimed at helping start-ups working on emerging technologies, by providing them support and mentorship to accelerate their businesses in newer and innovative ways. “A cohort of nine start-ups focused on VR have been selected and each start-up will get access to training, mentors, workshops, research, and Facebook’s VR Innovation lab located at T-Hub as part of the three-month accelerator programme,” said Jay Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer of T-Hub.

“As the start-up ecosystem of emerging technologies takes optimistic shape in India, we are dedicated towards setting them up for success by providing mentorship and access to the right tools and technology for scaling their businesses,” Satyajeet Singh, Head (Strategic Product Partnerships, India and South Asia) of Facebook, said.
