Aegis has launched a new centre in Lima, Peru.

The global consulting company plans to hire over 800 employees in the first year and aims to reach a headcount of 2,000 in the second year.

“We chose to grow in Peru for its ease of doing business, skilled labour market and economic and political stability,” said Mr Aparup Sengupta, Managing Director and Global CEO, Aegis.

Aegis acquired Actionline de Argentina within the same region, in October 2010.
