Amazon has opened its warehouse in Bangalore. This is the second such warehouse of the Seattle-based company with the first one being in Bhiwandi, which is located in the outskirts of Mumbai.
Called Amazon fulfilment centres, these warehouses are places that stock inventories, which any online or physical retailer can use to pick up and sell.
Further, once the retailer signs up for this service, Amazon packs and ships the order to the customer regardless of whether the final customer has paid online or through cash on delivery.
