Computer components manufacturer Asus India is planning an investment of over Rs 200 crore in 2011 to fund its expansion plans, including its media player business, a senior company official said.
The Taiwan-based company, which caters to the assembled PC market in India, is also eyeing a 17 per cent growth in revenue at around Rs 600 crore this year, Asus India Country Head (Component Business), Mr Vinay Shetty, told PTI here.
“We plan to invest in introducing new products, setting up new offices and hiring more people who will take our products to the consumers.”
