The Ahmedabad-based e-commerce firm Infibeam on Thursday announced collaboration with Avenues, the parent company of gateway solutions provider CCAvenue.com, to launch a marketplace for Indian merchants.

Infibeam is the parent company of e-commerce platform Build-a-Bazaar.

www.dhamaal.com, the new marketing, distribution and communication marketplace, would cater to the Indian merchants looking for more efficient models of customer acquisition and revenue generation, an Infibeam official said here.

CCAvenue powers 85 per cent of India’s merchant Web sites payment processing with complete KYC and legal agreements in place.

Vishwas Patel, CEO-Avenues, said that the company has a display inventory base of over 1.5 crore products.

About 300 sellers have committed to come on board, and it would have a new marketing model and access to bank customers paying online, he said.

Vishal Mehta, CEO, Infibeam, said: Dhamaal.com has been built on Infibeam’s enterprise technology platform Build-a-Bazaar. Merchants getting approval to list their products on Dhamal can use self-service management tools to manage their products and fulfil orders.

CCAvenue has partnered with over 50 Indian banks. Dhamaal will offer co-branded marketplace to banks and their customers to transact online.
