Computer maker Dell said on Wednesday that its India revenue grew about 37 per cent year-on-year during fourth-quarter ended January 31, 2011. The company said its consumer business in India jumped 47 per cent, while SMB and public sector business recorded growth of 52 per cent and 41 per cent, respectively.
“Asia-Pacific and Japan revenue grew 17 per cent, EMEA (Europe, West Asia and Africa) increased three per cent and the Americas were up three per cent. Revenue in Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC) grew 21 per cent and represents 13 per cent of total company revenue. For the full year, revenue in those countries was up 38 per cent,” the Round Rock, Texas company said in a statement here.
