Hyderabad Angels, a network of angel investors, has made an Rs 2-crore investment in Edutor Technologies, a start up.
Edutor Technologies develops and markets interactive learning platforms for touch devices such as tablet PCs, iPads etc.
Their solutions are designed to improve learning outcomes, while aiding educational institute improve productivity and efficiency.
The investment from Hyderabad Angels was led by Mr Sashi Reddi, a serial entrepreneur and founder of SRI Capital Fund with Rs 1 crore along with investors from industry and education field.
Mr Ram Gollamudi, CEO of Edutor said the company focuses on personal learning and on developing products that deliver learning experiences.
The investment will further boost efforts in delivering more innovations in the learning and education space, he said.
Mr Sashi Reddi said the Indian education market is expected to touch $50 billion by 2015.
