E-tailer Flipkart has begun accepting pre-orders for Google’s flagship smartphone Nexus 4 that is manufactured by Korean handset major LG Electronics.
The handset is priced at Rs 25,990 for the 16 GB variant, while the estimated date of release would be in the fourth week of May. When contacted a Flipkart spokesperson confirmed the development, and added that the company is the exclusive online retailer with warranty. However, the e-tailer would not be stocking the 8 GB version.
“It’s too early to comment on sales, but the buzz is good,” she added. The phone was launched in October 2012 and was available for sale on November 13, 2012. Nexus 4 is the Google's fourth Nexus-branded Android smartphone, and the smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2 GB of RAM and 8 or 16 GB of internal storage.
