Flytxt, a firm that provides analytics-driven platforms to telecom companies, has gone live in three ‘MTN markets’ in Africa.
MTN Group connects subscribers in 22 countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
MTN partnershipFlytxt has signed a group-level partnership with MTN to deploy real-time decision-making and customer engagement solution across group operations.
The platform has gone live in Ghana, Rwanda, Guinea-Conakry, Uganda and Zambia, said Pieter Verkade, Group Commercial Officer, MTN.
The Flytxt solution enables more informed interaction with customers, enhancing the network experience, he said.
Complex environmentPrateek Kapadia, Chief Technology Officer, Flytxt, said telecom companies are among the most complex IT environments for deploying analytics platforms.
This is because they have varied data sources and volumes running into many terabytes with millions of real-time events every day.
“Our deployments usually span four to eight weeks, depending on the scale and scope of implementation. We could deliver faster in MTN markets thanks to clarity on objectives and proactive support,” Kapadia said.
