Flytxt, a leading analytics solutions provider for telecom service providers, has released a newsletter on asset monetisation opportunities featuring Gartner research.
The guide will help service providers understand how they can put to use core assets of network infrastructure, IT platform capabilities, customer relationship and insights to generate and sustain new revenue streams, a spokesperson said.
The newsletter contains a report from Gartner titled ‘Market Insight: Data Monetisation by CSPs (communication service providers), of February 4, 2014.
The report states that ‘more communications service providers with sophisticated data capabilities will test new opportunities to monetise data and their related skills in 2014.
“Product managers and operational teams can learn how service providers can participate in the value chain for big data and analytics,” said Abhay Doshi, Vice-President, Product and Marketing, Flytxt.
He added: “Innovative and disruptive business models as well as adjacent services are changing the telecom landscape at imperceptible speed.
“Through this newsletter we wish to explore and discuss how service providers can navigate this dynamic landscape leveraging big data analytics and how they can potentially generate more than 20 per cent incremental economic value by 2016-2017.”
The newsletter also includes a guest article on how Big Data Analytics can trigger insight on monetisation opportunities.
It also has an approach note on how service providers can integrate the fragmented mobile advertising ecosystem to increase return on investments for brands and advertisers, generating sustainable revenue stream for themselves.
The newsletter can be accessed on the Flytxt website, the spokesperson said.
