The pre- and post-sales support for the 2012 US Presidential Elections has been single-handedly driven by Google India.
The year started with the Republican nominee race when the key contestants such as Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich started their campaigns. This was in addition to Barack Obama’s campaign management and support throughout the year.
As the final run-up nears for the Presidential Elections between Obama and Romney, the India team is well complemented to provide round-the-clock support from managing Reserve & Auction buy, flighted campaigns, and approval of ads as per Google policies to showcase the impact realised by the campaigns in terms of ad/ video impressions on search, GDN and YouTube.
Beside supporting the Democrat and Republican campaigns, the team has been supporting the Independent Expenditure accounts.
These are accounts supporting either one of the party candidates without having direct political affiliation.
The team has successfully supported the campaign management till date while managing the challenging maze of multiple time zones, political sensitivities, short turnaround time, US political nuances and policies.
