Prathyusha Institute of Technology and Management has begun offering advanced courses in mobile applications and embedded systems through a tie-up with IBM. The partnership incorporates the technology company’s Career Education Programme into the institute’s engineering curriculum, introducing to students industry-oriented software such as IBM Worklight (app development), DB2 (database management), and IBM Rational (chip design).
The memorandum on understanding includes hands-on training and a certificate by graduation. Sudhir Sastry, Technical Sales Leader-India, South Africa, IBM, says: “The programme aims to provide skills and training for the younger generation to become a faster and smarter workforce.”
