Infosys has seen yet another high profile exit in its middle top management.

Binod Hampapur Rangadore or HR Binod as he is known in the IT circle who was the Senior Vice-President and Global Head for Corporate Relations has resigned from the company after almost 20 years.

According to one of the top headhunters in Bangalore, the 49-year-old Binod will not join any other IT company and will pursue his interests in the healthcare business.

He was instrumental in setting up Rangadore Memorial Hospital (RMH) that is an initiative of Shri Sringeri Sharadapeetham Charitable Trust and Bangalore Kidney Foundation (BKF) since mid-2000.

According to a source who is close to Binod, he quit on ‘uncertainty’ around his role in the company post the recent round of management reshuffles. Binod had taken a sabbatical in 2009 to pursue his interest but rejoined the company in 18 months.

When contacted, an Infosys spokesperson said: “We don’t comment on individual movements.” He had been with the company since 1993 and served in different roles such as heading manpower, planning and banking business unit. Back in November 2007, he was given charge to head India business, which is currently headed by former CFO, V. Balakrishnan.

In September last year, Shaji Farooq, a senior level executive at Infosys, quit to join rival Wipro after spending more than a decade in the financial services vertical, for which he was spearheading the consulting and system integration for the American continent.

In the recent past, the company has seen exits of board member Mohandas Pai, Sales Head Subhash Dhar and Ritesh Idnani who was the Chief Operating Officer of Infosys BPO.
