Aircel will offer Internet for a month at less than Rs 1 per day through its pocket Internet. Targeted mainly at first time mobile Internet users, the package will offer adequate data to help familiarise with popular search engines and social networking sites. Customers will also be able to download applications and surf the Internet. The package is valid for 30 days and is part of Aircel’s data portfolio, which will be available in Chennai for Rs 24 for 100 MB data, according to a company press release.
