Nokia Corporation’s global CEO and President Rajeev Suri is scheduled to visit India next week and is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be Suri’s first visit to India after he was elevated to the new role. Suri joined Nokia in 1995 and has held a wide range of leadership positions in the company. Since October 2009, he has served as CEO of NSN, the former joint venture between Nokia and Siemens that is now fully owned by Nokia. As the CEO, Suri undertook a radical transformational direction by cutting down costs and divesting loss-making units.
