Ever been in a position where you've spoken so loudly over the phone, you've received dirty looks and wished someone warned you about your tone?

And then felt so embarrassed you want to simply smash your phone screen, yet have it work properly? Well, you can now have all this and more, thanks to mobile applications developed by Nokia's ‘Millionaires'.

A total of 11 of Nokia's Indian millionaire developers (those whose mobile applications have crossed the one million downloads mark), have launched exclusive ‘apps' to celebrate their entry into Nokia's Millionaire League, a team of 200 ‘millionaire' developers, of which 20 are Indian.

The 11 millionaire developers have launched Java, Qt. Created and Symbian-based applications across various business focused and entertainment categories to add to Nokia's kitty of over 50,000 mobile applications. They will be available free of cost on the Nokia Store (earlier known as Ovi Store).

The developers have launched several applications including some which alert the user when his voice is too loud over the phone and regulates the voice and tone, and others which enable you to store confidential data on the phone (protected using ‘military standard password encryptions'). A host of gaming apps such as a mobile cricket game, a bowling game and the ‘stress buster' bug smashing game are also available.

India is a huge market for mobile apps with weekly download of apps hitting 8 million a week compared to global download of 9 million a day from the Nokia Stores alone. With over 50 per cent of Nokia's developers from India, the country is one of the three largest markets for Nokia's apps.
