Nasdaq-listed Pegasystems has opened a new development centre in Bangalore.
The company has another development centre in Hyderabad with a total headcount of 500 employees and with the opening of the Bangalore centre, Pegasystems plans to increase its headcount by another 500 people.
While its Hyderabad centre is built over one lakh square feet, the Bangalore centre will total 55,000 square feet in workspace and is located at Pritech SEZ park in Bellandur.
The Bangalore centre will support its global operations and will deliver R&D, engineering services, industry solutions framework and customer support, similar to other software majors.
Further, as a part of its India plans, Pegasystems will partner Indian IT companies like Cognizant, Mahindra Satyam, Infosys, TCS and Wipro to sell their software to global and Indian clients.

Over the years, we have been increasingly investing and will continue to invest in the country to grow our operations here.”

Pegasystems has 25 per cent of its workforce in India.
