The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) has deployed a core banking solution from Polaris Financial Technology in all of its 692 branches spread across Vietnam. Polaris’ Intellect® solution allows the bank to support operations in around 11,000 transaction points, the IT company said in a press statement. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed. VBSP is a government-owned bank which has taken the lead in policy and microfinance field in Vietnam, the statement said. Polaris scrip was down by 1.17 per cent to close at Rs 206.5 on the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
