Polaris Software Labs' partner and Chief Financial Officer, Mr R. Srikanth, has resigned citing personal reasons. He is a key member of the company's Business Corporate Heads. He has been with the company since July 2006.
“It [resignation] is purely for personal reasons and I will keep you informed on further development from my end,” Mr Srikanth said. His resignation comes a day before the Chennai-based software company is to announce its second quarter results.
Mr Srikanth said he will be with Polaris till October end.
With over 24 years of experience in the field of finance and business management, Mr Srikanth heads the Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Governance and Secretarial functions for Polaris and its subsidiaries in India and worldwide.
Prior to this, Mr Srikanth was with Wipro BPO Solutions as the Associate Chief Operating Officer.
He is a Fellow Member in the Institute of Chartered Accountants and in the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
The share price of Polaris on the BSE closed at Rs 128.65, down by Rs 8.45 or 6.16 per cent over the previous day's closing price.
