Corporate lobbyist Ms Niira Radia met the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director, Mr A.P. Singh, at the North Block office here on Wednesday morning. Though the CBI refused to say anything about the meeting that lasted for nearly 20 minutes, CBI sources said that Ms Radia had sought an appointment with the CBI Director.
The sources said that she came to the CBI chief with a complaint against a lawyer who was allegedly trying to blackmail her.
The sources said that Ms Radia was a witness in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case. CBI is also likely to file second supplementary chargesheet in the 2G spectrum allocation scam by June-end or in early July, the sources indicated.
