Ramco Systems Ltd has launched its Ramco ERP on cloud, iPad, and other tablets and smartphones in Australia.
This marks the expansion of Ramco’s existing cloud solution that is powered by Amazon Web Services in the new AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region.
This new offering will help customers in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific islands access Ramco’s comprehensive, cloud-based ERP solution that runs on AWS with data residing within Australian shores, says a Ramco press release.
In a cloud-based model customers do not invest upfront in the entire solution but pay Ramco a monthly fee based on the number of users using the solution.
With this launch, Ramco now turns its attention to the growing mid-size enterprises from mining, professional services, equipment rental, property management and infrastructure maintenance industries. It will also target niche segments such as aviation MRO, government resource planning and citizen services, which have a good market potential in the region.
The Chennai-based Ramco currently has over 1.5 lakh users globally and has been growing its cloud footprint across global markets.
