Imaging solutions major Ricoh India Ltd, a subsidiary of $21.7-billion Ricoh Company Ltd of Japan, plans to expand its product portfolio targeting Rs 1,000 crore turnover in the next three years, from the Rs 256 crore the company posted in 2009-10. “We are in talks with several companies for partnerships and value-added services, including acquisitions,” said Mr N. Maitra, Managing Director, Ricoh India Ltd.
The company is also stepping up its manpower, from the existing 660 to 1,000 by September , including trained front-end sales and engineers, he said. The company recently launched ‘Graphic Arts Edition,' a digital colour printing press designed specifically for the professional production printing segment.
Mr Maitra said that there is substantial demand for machines that offer enhanced print quality and reliability, enabling high-quality imaging on a wide spectrum of media at maximum speed.
