Mr Sashi Reddi has sold AppLabs, his fourth entrepreneurial venture, and made a fortune. What is he up to now?
Those who are tracking Mr Reddi's ventures know that he is not going to sit idle for long.
Mr Reddi said: “There are exciting opportunities that hold great promise. Not necessarily in information technology field.”
When asked to specify his new area of interest, he said green tech could be one.
For now, he said the focus would be on integration. “It is not going to be a tough task. I expect that it will be completed in six months, maximum,” he said.
A serial entrepreneur, Mr Reddi had started off with the venture EZPower Systems that helped build and maintain large-scale Web applications. He sold it to DocuCorp and it ultimately landed in Oracle fold.
His other ventures included iCoop, a group buying software solution firm. Eyeing opportunities in the gaming segment, he founded FXLabs. “We sold it to Foundation9 Entertainment last year,” he said.
Unlike the high profile sale of AppLabs, the FXLabs deal with US-based gaming and entertainment major did not make headlines.
