Sonata Software Ltd has announced revenues of Rs 1,393.35 crore for 2010-11, against Rs 1,380.44 crore in 2009-10.
While revenues went up by only one per cent, net profit increased 7 per cent from Rs 79.87 crore in 2009-10 to Rs 85.61 crore in 2010-11. Almost 43 per cent (Rs 598.97 crore) of Sonata's revenues came from domestic software, while IT services accounted for around 21 per cent (Rs 290.40 crore) and TUI Infotech accounted for around 36 per cent (Rs 503.98 crore).
For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011, the company's revenues stood at Rs 320.89 crore against Rs 319.10 crore for the same quarter last year.
Net profit for this quarter was up 23 per cent on a year-on-year basis, from Rs 18.78 crore on March 31, 2010 to Rs 23.05 crore on March 31, 2011.
