Tata Consultancy Services has bagged a ‘multi-million dollar' IT infrastructure deal from the Netherlands-based technical consultancy firm Royal Haskoning.
As part of the deal, TCS will provide services such as multi-lingual service desk, data centre hosting and management, end user computing services, application support services and transformation solutions.
“We face interesting new challenges and consistent experience of service delivery is essential for us to be successful. In TCS, we have found a full service partner offering us round-the-clock service, broad expertise and experience and strong technology alliances. Their delivery model will give our company the necessary support,” said Mr Eric Overvoorde, Chief Information Officer of Royal Haskoning.
TCS has more than 1,000 employees located in the Netherlands, servicing companies such as KLM, Rabobank and the ING Group. It also operates a delivery centre in Eindhoven.
The TCS scrip was down by 0.62 per cent to close at Rs 1089.8 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
