Tata Value Homes has entered into a tie-up with Housing.com to sell four of its upcoming projects. Interestingly, the inventory in these four projects will be sold only through the online platform. Housing.com will launch its proprietary Slice View, an interactive Home booking platform, to woo home buyers. Pawan Sarda, Head, Marketing, Tata Value Homes, told reporters, “we see online as an opportunity and we cannot be myopic about the growth option there”. Tata Value Home had earlier partnered with Snapdeal to sell homes. The company had sold 85 homes through the venture. It also sells through its own online channel.
Sarda said the company had collectively sold about 700 homes through all e-commerce channels.
Housing.com, the two-year-old online real estate portal started by couple of IITians, has attracted $100 million funding led by Japan’s Softbank recently. It had previously had raised $19 million from Helion Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners and Qualcomm Ventures.
