TeamLease Services has entered into the Rs 600-crore IT-related training business.

The staffing solutions company, which already offers staffing solutions and skills development services, is now foraying into executive learning space.

Mr Davuluri P, Senior Vice-President, TeamLease Services, told Business Line that the company would scale up its Hire-Train-Deploy business model in fiscal 2012-13.

“Currently, we are focussing on technical training for IT companies, but in the next fiscal offer learning services in retail and FMCG sectors,” he said. The company is working with 35 clients in the IT segment.

With about 300 trainers and 120 training centres (35 of them satellite centres), TeamLease would be able to offer these services to large companies across the country, he said.

Campus recruitment

In fact, TeamLease is eyeing the campus recruitment space where its services would start with fresher hiring, induction training and deployment. As campus hiring tends to be seasonal, it also offers tech ladder training that is quick fix training for engineers who are moved from one project to another. The third is in the area of certification in technical courses for tech employees in large companies, he said.
