Bharti Airtel has launched trials of its 4G services in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam, giving its customers a free upgrade to 4G from their 3G connections.
“We will study the roll out and gather user feed back during the trial phase,” Venkatesh Vijayraghavan, Chief Executive Officer (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) of Bharti Airtel has said.
“Customers with 4G ready mobile devices can walk into our retail shops in the two cities to get a 4G SIM that offer faster Internet connectivity,” he said.
Airtel has already rolled out its 4G services in Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh and Amritsar.
