Bharti Airtel has selected Nokia Siemens Networks' software to offer seamless Internet connectivity and more intuitive mobile data services across the 16 African nations where the company operates.
“Nokia Siemens Networks' robust mobile device management solution will allow our customers in Africa to enjoy the latest services by enabling seamless Internet connectivity and excellent customer care support, while Airtel will benefit from reduced operational costs when introducing new devices or services,” Bharti Airtel CEO (International) and Joint Managing Director, Mr Manoj Kohli said.
Nokia Siemens Networks' Serve at Once Device Management (SADM) software will enable Airtel to remotely and automatically manage and configure user devices for new data services, the private telecom operator said in a statement said.
