Akamai Technologies has partnered start-up accelerator TLabs as part of the Akamai One programme.
With this partnership, start-ups under the wings of TLabs can leverage Akamai’s Web and mobile solutions, with no integration or recurring costs for the first year, the company said in a statement.
Abhishek Gupta, Head of Accelerator, TLabs India, said: "We believe that our partnership with Akamai and its knowledge, expertise and leadership in this space will add tremendous value to startups.”
India is the fastest growing and the third largest start-up ecosystem globally. In the last two years, there has been a three-fold increase in the number of start-ups in India and this number is expected to grow to 11,500 by 2020, according to estimates.
India has seen a considerable amount of growth with start-ups, and these companies are addressing market opportunities globally, with an online business model.
