Amazon, the e-commerce firm that opened a fulfilment centre near here recently, is now wooing customers with a free Wi-Fi service. Launched at three busy bus junctions in the city, the free Wi-Fi service is aimed at encouraging people to shop on its e-commerce platform.
The service is available at the three busy bus-stops of Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar and Ameerpet.
“Customers can download the Amazon mobile app and shop online,” Manish Kalra, Director Integrated Marketing, Amazon India, has said, announcing the service.
Those who are not initiated yet into online shopping will get a help. Amazon representatives will help them create an account and login. The internet access is unlimited and is not restricted to any particular activity.
