Amazon Web Services on Wednesday launched Hindi language support for Amazon Polly, a machine learning service that turns text to speech. Aditi, which supports both English and Hindi languages, is the first bilingual voice support service in the country.
Aditi was first released as an Indian English voice to the Amazon Polly portfolio in 2017. Addition of Hindi language for Amazon Polly will enhance the experience for Indian customers. With this launch, the product now supports 53 voices in 26 Indian languages across 14 regions.
