Bangalore will host the three-day Droidcon from November 28. The event will discuss the latest in the world of Android, the mobile operating system backed by Google and used by smartphones across the world.
Original equipment manufacturers such as Intel, Amazon, SonyMobile, Huawei and others would talk to developers, and offer platforms and tools to help them build apps that have relevance to the local Indian context.
About 400 developers are expected to take part in the event, with more than half of them coming from metros.
“Droidcon India 2013 will cover user interface, business systems and hardware and gaming. It will also discuss the challenges of monetising Android apps, how to launch them in the market, and overall strategy,” organisers said here in a statement.
Christopher Neugebauer from Asdeq Labs will speak about Native UI and designing better mobile apps. Jonas Hellström will talk about the Sony Smartwatch2 API. Sriram Ramani from Mozilla will talk about optimising performance on Android apps.
