Bartronics India Ltd, a bar code and RFID technology company, has announced a major revamp of operations by restructuring it into four entities.
The company would have four different arms to focus on different strengths.
The company would have Bartronics Identification Solutions, Bartronics Banking Solutions, Bartronics Citizen Services and Bartronics Asia Pte Limited, according to Mr Sudhir Rao, Managing Director of Bartronics.
For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011, the company registered net sales of Rs 292 crore against Rs 265 crore, showing a growth of 10.3 per cent.
Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 46 crore (Rs 28.83 crore), an increase of 60 per cent. Basic EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 13.54 (Rs 8.84), showing a growth of 53 per cent.
He attributed the growth to strong performance across India, the US and Singapore geographies.
For the financial year 2010-11, the company's revenue was put at Rs 907 crore showing an increase of 11 per cent over last year's Rs 817 crore.
Net profit for the year increased by 13 per cent at Rs 118 crore from Rs 105 crore in the corresponding period last year. Basic EPS for the year stood at Rs 34.78 (Rs 34.31).
“Despite having had a challenging year, we have managed to sustain our businesses across geographies, as highlighted by the growth in revenues in the current fiscal by 11 per cent,” he said.
The company projected a growth of 20 per cent in topline and bottomline this financial year.
