Beetel Teletech, an arm of Bharti Enterprises, will come out with a 7-inch tablet computer next month.
“It will have Android 2.2 Operating System. It will be sold at a very affordable price,” Mr Rahul Mahajan, Head of Mobile Business of Beetel Teletech, said.
Refusing to indicate likely price of the tablet, he said the company would roll out more tablets in the subsequent months. It would also launch Android and touch phones next month.
The company, which sold 1.5 lakh mobiles a month, would come out with two models every month this financial year.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday to launch two models in the sub-Rs 1,800 segment, he said the company would set up exclusive retail outlets besides building a distribution network across the country.
