BlackBerry has slashes prices of its Z10 handsets by 31 per cent to Rs 29,990, under a limited period offer.

“We continue to leverage festive season with relevant product and services promotions. BlackBerry 10 platform offers a new and unique mobile communication experience and at Rs.29,999 the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is uniquely positioned to change the way in which our customers view mobile technology,” Sunil Lalvani, Managing Director India for BlackBerry said.

In February, the Canadian handset manufacturer launched the Z10 in India with a price tag of Rs 43,490.

The handset runs on the company’s new operating system (OS) BlackBerry10 (BB10). It features a 1.5 GHz dual core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and an expandable memory card slot that supports up to 32GB of additional storage.
