Tata Consultancy Services has said that all of its employees and participants associated with Boston Marathon are safe.
Two bombs were detonated during the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring at least 144 others, in what is being seen as the first major terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11.
TCS has been the official IT and consulting partner of the Boston Athletic Association and the Boston Marathon for the last four years.
“Our thoughts and sympathies go out to all those people impacted by this terrible tragedy. As the official technology consulting partner and supporter of the 2013 Boston Marathon and the Boston Athletic Association, we had several TCSers at the event location. All our employees associated with the marathon as well as the runners from Team TCS have been accounted for and are safe,” a TCS spokesperson said.
TCS had fielded 20 runners, including employees and clients, this year.
