BT today announced it has strengthened its position in the Asia-Pacific region for the next generation telecom services.
The British company has moved up higher as a “leader” in the IDC MarketScape: Asia Pacific Next-Generation Telecom Services 2011 Vendor Analysis.
According to IDC, BT Global Services has executed well on the ‘Asia Pacific investment programme', which it set out for the region last May, including new technology showcase centres in six cities (Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, New Delhi and Shanghai).
Mr Kevin Taylor, President, BT Asia Pacific, said “We are firmly committed to becoming the number one provider of networked IT services as we continue to invest in the customer experience, capability and innovation, in Asia-Pacific as well as in other high growth economies around the world.”
